Popeye's favorite variety! Bloomsdale Long Standing is an old standard with thick-textured, glossy, dark green savoyed leaves.  It is a large, spreading spinach. The yield is good, & it is slow to bolt. For first crop, plant in spring. Plant again in late summer. Hardy. Tolerates cold temperatures. Can survive heavy frost.
