How to Grow

Transplantings into the ground can be made once all risk of frost has passed onwards. Alternatively, plant direct into containers filled with a good potting compost and grow on a sunny patio. Makes an attractive and productive container surrounded by pots of flowers on a sunny patio. Water regularly during dry weather.

Harvest and Preserving Tips

Regular picking is essential - the more you pick, the more they produce. Runner beans are at their best when fresh, young, and tender. They should be harvested when the pods are less than full length, snap easily and while the seeds are still small and pale in colour.
